Ft. Liberte’ is the capital of the state in the extreme northeast of the country. It’s main activity is agriculture. While wells can support agriculture, and one of our wells provides water for a coffee plantation, our efforts are focused on supplying clean, potable water for people in rural areas. Lack of clean water causes major health issues. Lack of water also requires extra time and effort for people in seeking water which is often contaminated.
